The Project
Aussie Strength is building the next generation of Functional Training gyms around Australia, franchisees all over are choosing Aussie Strength equipment for their new gym fitouts and renovations. When moving into their new Warehouse in Smithfield in 2019 they were looking for ways to keep operation cost low.
The Solution
To compensate for approximately 90% of the Warehouse and office electricity consumption the choice was made for a 25KW European inverter from established manufacturer Fronius, in combination with 115 x 280W Talesun Panels. 5-year Inverter and Installation warranty combined with a 10-year Commercial Solar Sydney Panel warranty are giving the business peace of mind beyond the simple payback time.
The Savings
The System will have an estimated production rate of 47,000 kWh per year. This would be equivalent to over $10,000 if the electricity would have been bought of the grid. Through a savvy funding arrangement with Stratton Finance, Aussie strength managed to have this system installed with no upfront cost. The regular monthly payments are offset by electricity savings.
